je ne sais kwa: 8 months

Evie is now 8 months old! Evie's Singapore Ah Ma had to go back to Singapore at the beginning of the month, so her Taiwan Ah Ma took over while her parents are at work. Evie loves to stand (with some help) and is almost ready to crawl. She likes to "talk" and is a happy and giggly baby. She loves "running" in her exersaucer and has figured out how to turn around in it. This month, we attended Asher and Owen's birthday party and Katelyn's 3rd birthday party. We also celebrated Chinese New Year with family. She's eating a larger variety of solid foods including bananas, pears, apples, peaches, green beans, and some mixed foods now. She really likes the fruit and sweeter veggies and is not so fond of the green veggies, but doesn't reject them like she did the peas. We'll have to try those again to see if she likes them now. :) As for sleep, she usually sleeps a 6-7 hour stretch now, and sometimes she even sleeps 10-11 hours straight! She's also napping 45 minutes or more at a time 2-3 times a day, even in the stroller during her daily walks with Ah Ma. For more pictures, click here.
