Our beautiful baby girl was born on June 2nd at 5:41am. She weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and measured 20 inches long. Mom went into labor around 9pm on June 1st and waited until 5am to go to the hospital. She arrived at the hospital 10 cm dilated...yikes! Luckily, her obstetrician doesn't live far away from the hospital and got there within 10 minutes.Mom and Dad had four names picked out: Ashley, Marion, Vivian, and Evangeline. It took us awhile, but we decided to name our baby girl Evangeline (pronounced ee-VAN-juh-leen), Evie for short. It means "like an angel" or "good news".
